Born
in Tolland, CT July 3, 1979
Christine Sajecki earned her BFA in painting with a minor in poetry
from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2001. She works with
a range of media from encaustic (melted and pigmented beeswax) drawing,
and animation. Her work has been included in many juried and solo exhibitions
throughout the east coast, Washington state, Portugal, and France. She
has been a guest lecturer and teacher at the Clayton State University;
the Greenbelt Community Center; the American Visionary Art Museum; the
Harford Community College, the Savannah College of Art & Design;
and Armstrong Atlantic University. As an artist-in-residence at the
Creative Alliance in Baltimore, MD for 3 years, she taught frequent
encaustic workshops in her studio to adults and children,
and continues that practice in her current studio in
Savannah, Georgia.
