Born in Tolland, CT July 3, 1979
Christine Sajecki studied painting and poetry at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She works with a range of media from encaustic (melted and pigmented beeswax) drawing, and animation. Her work has been included in many juried and solo exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. She has been a guest lecturer and teacher at several institutions and community centers, including the American Visionary Art Museum, Armstrong Atlantic State University, Clayton State University, MICA, and SCAD. As resident artist at the Creative Alliance in Baltimore for 3 years, she taught frequent encaustic workshops in her studio to adults and children, and continues that practice in her current studio in Savannah, Georgia.
